眼底疾患、黄斑疾患、網膜硝子体手術

紹介

群馬大学医学部を卒業後、ジョンズ・ホプキンス大学ウィルマー眼研究所、埼玉医科大学教授を経て、現在は国際医療福祉大学で教授を勤める。研究業績も多数あり、IFは2015年現在約470となっている。特に、失明に直結するような重篤な疾患、糖尿病網膜症・加齢黄斑変性などの眼底疾患には力を入れており、ここ10年間は硝子体手術に関しては、全国トップ10に入るほどの手術数を経験してきた。
