古賀病院21 脳神経外科
微小外科解剖の研究で世界的な権威であるフロリダ大学ロートン教授のもとに留学し、微小外科解剖を学んだ。それ以降、後頭蓋窩の微小外科解剖と手術をライフワークとしてきた。第四脳室病変への「小脳延髄裂経由法」、三叉神経痛に対する「小脳テント吊り輪牽引法」や小脳延髄槽病変や舌咽神経痛に用いる「顆窩経由法」など、微小外科解剖を学んだからこそできる手術アプローチ法をあみ出した。後進への指導も熱心で、微小外科解剖と手術の手引き書「後頭蓋窩の微小外科解剖と手術（日本語）」を2006年に、またそれを改編し、英語版として2014年に出版している。また微小外科解剖に加えて、日本人に多いもやもや病の専門家でもある。
