紹介

聴覚医学の第一人者。専門は耳科学、聴覚医学、頭蓋底外科など。中耳炎に対する鼓室形成術をはじめとする聴力改善手術の他に、補聴器外来を担当し、難聴を抱える患者さん一人ひとりに適切な聴覚管理や補聴器装用指導を行っている。日本耳科学会理事長、日本耳鼻咽喉科学会副理事長、日本聴覚医学会理事などを歴任。現在、世界で初めてのiPS 創薬研究による感音難聴治療薬の医師主導治験の代表者を務めている。
